Jumblatt back from Turkey, confirms mutual will to salvage Syria
Winding up a visit to Turkey, Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) Leader, Walid Jumblatt, confirmed a mutual will with Turkey to burn the candle at both ends in a bid to rescue Syria from its prevailing crisis.

Jumblatt had been to Turkey for talks with Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, over most recent regional developments.

The visit also came in appliance to an agreement between both men on the pressing need to follow-up talks on the situation in Lebanon and Arab countries.

"The visit is a translation to a joint interest to exercise dauntless efforts to rescue Syria from its plight," a statement by the PSP media office read.

The statement also highlighted the pairs' agreement that a political solution was the sole alternative to violence wrought at the hands of the Syrian regime.
