Gov’t agency makes big stink over old fish in Hadath
Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Economy Fouad Fleifel said that a significant quantity of expired fish and others whose expiry dates have been tempered with were seized in Hadath in the southern suburbs.

During a press conference on Thursday in the Ministry of Economy, Fleifel stressed that samples were taken to run laboratory tests on them.

“This operation is the fruit of the perseverance and follow-up of the consumer protection agency working tirelessly to report counterfeit violations and cases where food security standards are not being implemented ”, Fleifel added.
