It seems like Syria is rapidly diving into more violence despite all the efforts to show that the military operations are almost over.

At least 27 people were killed and more than 97 were wounded including several security police members and civilians in two explosions which hit Damascus early on Saturday, a Syrian television channel said, quoting Health Minister Wael al-Halki.

A blast at the aviation intelligence headquarters showed the front of the building blown away, with numerous burnt out cars littering the street below.    

The second bomb targeted a criminal security headquarters, with television showing the smoldering wreckage of a car at the site, and what appeared to be at a charred corpse inside the mangled shell.    

These developments nearly marked the end of Arab-UN envoy Kofi Anan’s mission to Syria.

The Associated Press revealed today that the Syrian Regime told Kofi Annan that no dialogue will start as long as the Syrian opposition is carrying out terrorist activities and still possessing weapons.

On Saturday morning France Press quoted an Arab diplomat as saying “Saudi military equipment on route to Jordan to be delivered to the Free Syrian Army”, adding that “we do not have much information about the subject but all details will be soon revealed”.

On the other hand Jordan categorically denied allegations of Saudi military equipment to be delivered to Free Syrian Army via its territory. On the Lebanese scene, a new tragedy shook the public again targeting this time 3 students.

Three students, Abdel Rahman Hussein Al Seddik, Usama Zreika and Ahmad Rifai were killed and seven other were injured after a wall collapsed in Hnein Public School in Tripoli, on Saturday.  

AFP reported that the wall collapsed on the school’s playground, killing three students, one 8 years old and two 16, who were gathered there during their break.
