Mount Lebanon's Investigating Magistrate Peter Jermanous questioned Tuesday the son of late Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi as a witness, one day after an arrest warrant was issued against former MP Hassan Yaacoub and three of his companions over their alleged involvement in his abduction.
Hannibal Moammar Gaddafi was asked about the conditions of his abduction to compare his testimony to that of ex-MP Yaacoub, in the presence of Mount Lebanon General Prosecutor Judge Claude Karam.
Former MP Hassan Yaacoub was arrested last Thursday during his questioning over the kidnapping of the son of deposed Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi.
Yaacoub's father was accompanying Imam Moussa al-Sadr and another man when they disappeared in Libya in 1978.
