FM Rajji says Qatar reaffirms support for Lebanon, sends medical aid to Beirut

Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji stated that he received a phone call from Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, who reaffirmed Doha’s firm and continued support for Lebanon and strongly condemned ongoing Israeli attacks.

Al-Khulaifi stressed Qatar’s rejection of strikes affecting civilians and said a medical aid aircraft has been dispatched to Beirut and is expected to arrive on Monday, as part of continued assistance to Lebanon during what he described as a difficult period.

Rajji expressed appreciation for Qatar’s humanitarian initiative, saying Lebanon is relying on friendly states to help halt Israeli escalation and to support the implementation of government decisions aimed at extending full state sovereignty and limiting weapons to legitimate authorities across Lebanese territory.
