REPORT: 70-year-old man found dead in Taanayel

The state-run National News Agency reported on Thursday that the body of a 70-year-old man was found overnight at his home.

The agency added that the body of Awad Turki al-Karim was discovered at his house in the Bekaa Valley town of Taanayel.

He was found with his hands and legs tied up.

The man hails from the nearby Zahle town of Barr Elias.

Forensics rushed to the scene to inspect the body.
