REPORT: Presidential election session deferred until February 8

Speaker Nabih Berri adjourned on Thursday the parliamentary session scheduled to elect a new president until February 8 due to a lack of quorum.

Lebanon has been plunged into a presidential vacuum since the mandate of President Michel Sleiman ended in May 2014 without the election of a successor.
