LF leader Geagea hits back at Speaker Berri’s comments

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea hit back on Tuesday at Speaker Nabih Berri’s comments after the latter accused him of "manipulating" Lebanese leaders.

"Dear friend Speaker Nabih Berri, God forbids I manipulate you, I am simply having fun with you," Geagea said via his Twitter account.

Berri had previously accused Geagea in comments published in a newspaper of "manipulating" Lebanese rivals "after he became unable of launching attacks at Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun."

The LF leader explained in another tweet: "As for me stopping my attacks on Aoun, well I think that your heart dances with delight every time that two Lebanese leaders reach an agreement... Goodbye and hope to meet you soon in Maarab."
