Aoun: Certain parties’ acts contravene the Arab League Charter
Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun announced on Tuesday that “what certain parties are doing contravenes the Charter of the Arab League and the Taif accord regarding the Lebanese-Syrian relationships.”
Aoun recalled article 8 of the Arab League Carter which highlights the importance that each member state respects the league’s system of governance.

Following the bloc’s weekly meeting, Aoun said that the telecommunications minister has prepared a draft law to create a fund for the municipalities’ development that is fueled by the cell phones’ profits, explaining that by establishing the fund, $600 million will be allocated to the development fund and $600 million will be distributed to municipalities.
