REPORT: Activists mark 1,000 days since Parliament extension

"You Stink" activists held on Saturday a sit-in in Beirut's Nejmeh Square, marking 1,000 days since the Parliament extended its own term.

Activists also handed out fake LL1,000 bills which had “1,000 days extension” instead of “1,000 Lebanese pounds” printed on them.

Lebanon’s Parliament voted in November 2014 to extend its mandate by an additional two years and seven months.
