Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri stressed on Friday that he supports holding the municipal polls on their scheduled time, noting that “electing a new head of state is the sole key to address the country’s pressing crises."
During a luncheon banquet held in Zahleh by the head of the Popular Bloc Miriam Skaff in his honor, Hariri urged all the lawmakers to head to the parliament and participate in the upcoming presidential electoral session.
In turn, Miriam Skaff called for exerting pressure to conduct the municipal elections, pointing out that the Zahleh city needs to be taken care of.
Earlier today, head of the Future bloc Hariri continued his tour throughout the Lebanese cities, in attempt to revitalize relations with his supporters along with some leaders.
After his visit to Tripoli two weeks ago, Hariri headed Friday to Zahle and Beqaa where he performed the Friday Prayers in Imam Ali SaadNayel Mosque.
