Following his meeting with CID head George Awad, Abou Faour stressed that the members of the Central Inspection Committee should meet in order to discuss the submitted files.
Meanwhile, “We Want Accountability” activists staged a sit-in outside the Central Inspection offices to protest against what they called “failure of the central inspection to hold accountable all those who have been making deals to steal public funds.”
The activists added that Central Inspection Committee’s failure to convene facilitates the theft of the public funds.
