REPORT: Cautious calm prevails over Ras Baalbak following violent clashes

Cautious calm prevailed on Thursday over Lebanon’s Ras Baalbek region after violent clashes between the Lebanese army and the Islamic State militants.

One Lebanese soldier and five militants were killed in the clashes with extremist fighters on the outskirts of Lebanon's northeastern border.

This as the military institution published a video depicting the operations carried out by the army in Ras Baalbek.
