Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said on Tuesday that corruption in Lebanon is an “existential issue”, stressing that the lid will be blown off the corrupt people soon.
During the launching of electronic real estate services, Hassan Khalil emphasized the need to follow up with the file pertaining to illegal internet networks and hold the involved sides accountable.
The minister said that the ministry is working on launching measures that would restore the citizen’s confidence in the state, chief among them is to reach an e-government.
On another note, Hassan Khalil said that political leaders should be more aware that things in the country and the region are not working well.
