The cabinet convened Monday afternoon in a session to discuss an agenda of several items, chief among which the issue of State Security.
Following the session, Information Minister Ramzi Jreij declared that after wide discussions over the issue of the State Security apparatus, Prime Minister will continue handling the law in accordance with the law in order to reach the required result.
He added that agreement was reached over a draft law aiming at amending the customs tariff regarding soap.
It has been also agreed upon draft decrees regarding the transfer of credits to the cabinet in order to cover the expenses while a number of grants have been approved for some ministries.
The minister also noted that a joint delegation between Ministries of Telecommunications and Information will be sent to negotiate with Nilesat.
