The northeastern town of Arsal witnessed Sunday an electoral day marked by democratic and calm atmosphere, where no security incident was reported in a town labeled as “a stronghold for gunmen.”
The residents of Arsal chose to change and elected a new mayor who asserted that work will kick off the soonest possible in order to resolve the issues faced by town for years.
