Education Minister announces three baccalaureate sessions, cancels Brevet exams

Education Minister Rima Karami announced that Lebanon will hold three sessions for the official baccalaureate examinations this year, while the "Brevet" exams will be canceled.

Karami said students will be allowed to sit for two consecutive sessions out of the three scheduled rounds. The first session will begin on June 29, the second on July 27, and an exceptional session on September 7.

Regarding the Brevet exams, the minister said they would not be held this year, adding, "Enjoy, there is no Brevet!"

Instead, students seeking the intermediate certificate will be evaluated based on school grades and internal examinations administered by their schools.
