Future bloc mulls over forwarding amendment to prison sentence law

The Future bloc announced on Tuesday that it decided to forward an amendment to the law to reduce the sentence year to 9 months recently passed by the parliament. The amendment will be presented on the grounds that civil workers were exempted from this law.

Following its weekly meeting, the bloc reckoned that the adopted method of renting electricity-generating ships leaves room for doubt. “This method was neither transparent nor professional”, the bloc added.

The bloc discussed the attempt to assassinate Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea and the security incident in Wadi Khaled on Monday.
