A mother fox patiently watched, as rescuers were saving her trapped baby fox cub out of a drain it had slipped in.
“We were amazed that the vixen turned up whilst we were trying to find the cub,” the Rescue Manager said.
“It was almost as if she knew we were trying to rescue her cub,” he added.
Founder of the organization Trevor Weeks explained that “he laid on the ground with my arm down the hole, as he suddenly felt the cub touching his hand, the cub reversed twice into his hand by not far enough for him to grab hold.”
“On the third occasion I was able to grab his tail, and gently lift him out of the drain,” he said.
