Makary: Cabinet “distances itself” from governing

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Farid Makary announced on Tuesday that the current cabinet is “an expired cabinet” distancing itself from governing; it is “battered” due to its many differences.

“The slogan of this cabinet is one of ‘we are all for working against each other.’ ”, he added.

During the parliament discussion session, Makary said “the attempted assassination of LF leader Samir Geagea targets civil peace and stability in order to change equations and impose a [change of balance of power].”

“The telecommunications ministry’s withholding of telecommunications data from security services helps protecting terrorists and murderers,” he added. He also accused the prime minister of contributing to the reemergence of terrorists.
