Aljihad Group for Commerce and Contracting won the Costa Brava landfill tender on Wednesday, with almost 12 million dollars less than it had in the previous and canceled contract.
The previous contract had been canceled after it was refused to be signed as a vast difference was noticed in the prices between Costa Brava and Bourj Hammoud landfill tenders.
The terms and conditions of the tender did not change; the prices of bids should have stayed within the same range, meaning that a 12 million dollar drop in the bid’s price is out of the norm.
