Sleiman, Mikati discuss current situation

President Michel Sleiman met on Tuesday with PM Najib Mikati with whom he discussed the current situation, the atmosphere prevailing over the general discussion session and the Wednesday cabinet agenda.

Sleiman also met with Environment Minister Nazim Khoury with whom he discussed the current political situation and the measures undertaken by the ministry to protect the environment.

The president also met with Economy Minister Nicolas Nahhas. Their meeting discussed the current economic situation as well as daily life issues.

Sleiman was also briefed by Director General of General Security Brigadier Abbas Ibrahim on the directorate’s activities.
