Charbel promises crackdown on billboard violators

Interior Minister Marwan Charbel said on Thursday that all illegal advertising billboards will be removed on May 1st.

During a meeting held to discuss road-side billboards, Charbel underscored the importance of respecting the law that stipulates the need to keep a 1-meter-distance between one billboard and the other.

Charbel added that authorities will crack down hard on those who violate the law.
