Aoun to LBCI: Some insist on eliminating others

Change and Reform bloc MP Alain Aoun told Nahrkom Said TV show that Lebanon stands before a real problem, just as the region is ahead of a mammoth challenge while some are still clinging to the reasoning of eliminating others.

Aoun said that the Change and Reform bloc is being bullied, adding that some are depending on [the support] of external powers. Aoun reiterated that the cabinet is burdened by the legacy of the past governments.

Aoun said that the bloc endorses proportional representation, adding that the interaction amongst figures of Bkerke’s committee is positive hoping that a law securing fair representation will be achieved.

Turning to Syria, MP Aoun stressed that the fate of the Syrian people should be left in the hands of the Syrians, calling for keeping Lebanon far from this crisis.
