LAF objects works conducted by Israel, contacts to prevent any violation

The LAF voiced its objection to the works carried out by Israel in the construction of a separation wall in the southern town of Kfar Kila.

Consequently, an emergency meeting was held at the Fatima Gate between the army and the UNIFIL to discuss this issue.

Israelis stopped the removal of the barbed wire from the disputed area south of the wall on the side of the town of Adaisseh but continued putting concrete blocks in the north waiting for the settlement of this problem.

Exclusive sources told LBCI that contacts are being held between military officials to prevent Israelis from repeating any violation that might create tension at the Lebanese-Israeli border.
