Islamic Sharia Council warns of security violations

The Islamic Sharia Council highlighted on Saturday the importance that politicians steer clear of positions that might drive the people into a frenzy, calling for settling the issue of Islamic detainees and releasing the innocents.

The council also warned of security violations witnessed on the Lebanese scene.

As for regional issues, the attendees touched on the Syrian situation, calling for embracing the Syrian refugees.

In its concluding remarks, the council refused that “official platforms” be used to criticize Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
