Interpol issues arrest warrant against Tarek Al-Hashimi
An international arrest warrant demanding the hand-over of Iraqi Vice President Tarek Al-Hashemi has been issued by the Interpol. The accusations mainly being, war crimes and the obstruction of justice.        

Interpol has requested the aid of its 190 member states to assist in the search and capture of Al-Hashemi.        

In 2011, an Iraqi arrest warrant was also issued against Al-Hashemi. He was trialed in absentia.
