Suleiman to Charbel: draft electoral law to be discussed

President Michel Suleiman presented Interior Minister Marwan Charbel on Tuesday, with the draft electoral law that is being discussed by the Council of Ministers and also discussed appointment propositions for vacant posts.

For his part, Charbel briefed Suleiman on all updates on the issue of the abduction of Father Gharios and the arrest of the perpetrators, stating that such an image brings back memories of the most horrific [civil] war events.

Suleiman also discussed the subject of elections with Patriarch of Antioch and All the East for Syriac Catholics of Saint Ignatius Joseph III Younan.
