The head of the Lebanese Communist Party Hanna Gharib declared Monday that the authority is corrupt and the Lebanese will establish the state they want sooner or later.
“We will be ready to confront you on May 15 and prevent you from passing another extension to the Parliament’s term,” he said, addressing the politicians.
Speaking from Riad al-Solh Square, Gharib noted that the Lebanese people’s present and future are threatened and held hostage by inferior interests.
The demonstration called for by the Lebanese Communist Party was held on Monday, May 01, from outside the headquarters of the National Federation of Worker and Employee Trade Unions in Lebanon.
The protesters had marched toward Riad al-Solh Square, passing through Cornish al-Mazraah and Mar Elias.
