REPORT: Hariri follows up on Red Cross exercises
Prime Minister Saad Hariri observed on Wednesday the exercises carried out by the Red Cross at the Nahr al-Assi River in the Bekaa region.
PM Hariri interrupted the Cabinet session to follow up on drills in preparation for a flooding scenario.
The exercise was organized by the Disaster Risk Management Unit of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), comprising drills that would be done if the river flooded in Baalbeck-Hermel.
Hariri followed the drills from the operations room in the Grand Serail through live video.
