MP Boutros Harb replied to Telecommunications Minister Jamal al-Jarrah, voicing his surprise over the decision issued by the minister authorizing a private company to extend fiber optic cables in landlines for an undetermined period of time.
Harb stressed that Minister al-Jarrah’s decision includes many violations, noting that as a deputy, he made remarks in this regard.
Harb noted that he was the one who uncovered the illegal internet issue, not the al-Jarrah, expressing pride over the strategic vision he left on means to develop the telecommunications sector in Lebanon.
