Works kicked off at the hippodrome of Beirut to prepare the site to host the Beirut Cultural Festivals, and where the world’s largest screen will be built to display two Lebanese plays.
The Secretary General of Beirut Festivals Association Ezzat Qoraytem said that “this screen will be the largest in the world with a display size of 2400 square meters,” noting that the largest screen in the world currently exists in China and has a display size of 1580 square meters.
“The Lebanese screen will have a width of 110 meters and a height of 24 meters and is designed to be shaped as a circular circuit with a diameter of 50 meters,” he stated.
