Kataeb and Hezbollah USJ student dispute comes to an end

Head of Kataeb Student Affairs told LBCI that the dispute that had occurred earlier Wednesday at USJ between students supporting Hezbollah and the Kataeb has now come to an end following direct calls with Hezbollah officials.

Both Charbel Eid, Head of the Lebanese Forces Students Affairs and Head of Hezbollah’s students affairs respectively stressed that the dispute need not occur again since such incidents are dangerous.

The Kataeb Students Affairs has since called on all its students bodies including those in elementary schools and other universities not to be dragged into similar fights stating that universities and schools should not be the center of political fuedalism.

The LAF has been deployed at the USJ campus to avoid any other confrontations.
