PM Hariri: A plan will set to help residents of Arsal

Prime Minister Saad Hariri said on Wednesday that a plan will be set in order to socially help residents of the border town of Arsal.

“The plan will be submitted to the Cabinet tomorrow,” Hariri said following his meeting with General Security chief Major General Abbas Ibrahim at the Grand Serail.

He also stressed on the importance of restoring normal life in Arsal, adding that the Lebanese state will not tolerate terrorism on its territories.

“Hezbollah carried out the operation and what matters is the result,” Hariri added.

As for the kidnapped Lebanese soldiers that are still in the Islamic State’s captivity, Hariri said that he is working on this case.

He concluded by thanking Major General Ibrahim for his deployed efforts in the accomplished swap deal.
