Hamas allows election commission to work in Gaza
Hamas Movement gave the green light to the Palestinian Central Election Commission (CEC) to start operating in Gaza strip by updating voter lists, according to the commission’s head Hanna Nasser.       

“Hamas has agreed to let the CEC start working throughout Gaza”, Nasser said in a press conference held on Monday after meeting with Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniya.            

Nasser said that the Commission started operating with five offices in Gaza strip’s provinces on Thursday.
