PM Hariri receives Governor-General of Australia

Prime Minister Saad Hariri received on Tuesday Governor-General of Australia Peter Cosgrove at the Grand Serail.

Talks reportedly featured high over the developments in Lebanon and in the region and ways to boost bilateral relations on all levels.

This as another meeting was held between Hariri, Gosgrove, the Australian ambassador to Lebanon, the accompanying delegation and Hariri’s advisers Nadim al-Mounla and Fadi Fawaz.

Discussions tackled the bilateral relations, the Syrian refugee crisi and its repercussions on Lebanon.

At the end of the meeting, Governor-General of Australia handed over Hariri an invitation to visit Australia.
