LAF Commander meets US Army General Votel

Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun met in Washington with the US Army General Joseph Votel who congratulated him on the victory made by the army after the Fajer al-Jouroud operation.

This as discussions also featured high over the bilateral relations and ways to boost cooperation to support the Lebanese army.

The US military aid program for Lebanon's army was also tackled during the meeting.

Votel reiterated to Aoun that more aid would be granted to the army in the upcoming stage.
