The Director General of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Mohamad Karaki issued warnings to the Sacre Coeur Hospital and Saint George Hospital, noticing them of potential contract termination, after reports came out saying that these facilities have been charging amounts exceeding the tariffs adopted by the fund and refusing to admit patients subscribed with the fund.
Reports issued by the Administrative Control System at the NSSF confirmed these violations.
The NSSF gave these two hospitals a two-week deadline to correct the path; otherwise measures will be taken against them, which could reach ending the monthly financial advances granted to the hospitals or vent terminating their contract with the fund.
