Prime Minister Saad Hariri chaired a meeting for the ministerial committee to discuss the 2018 budget draft law, held at the Grand serial.
Following the session, Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil noted that discussions tackled the budget’s numbers, noting that the seriousness was evident during the meeting as commitment was showing to reducing 20% of the ministries’ budgets.
“Budgets of the presidency, speakership and premiership were also mentioned, as well as relevant administrations and committees,” he stated, adding that the outcome was positive.
