Kataeb Party: Public debt has reached an alarming level

The Kataeb Party politburo held on Tuesday its weekly meeting whereby it sounded the alarm over the level of public debt that “has reached an alarming level of a comprehensive economic collapse.”

The Party also called for the endorsement of the state’s Budget that is committed to reducing the deficit and restructuring the public debt.

On another note, the party called on the judiciary to pursue the investigations over the electricity deal dossier, and to uncover the entire truth.

The Kataeb Party concluded by asserting that it is high time to hold the political authorities accountable, during the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
