Frangieh: Current phase is difficult but harder days ahead

Al-Marada leader MP Sleiman Frangieh called on the Lebanese people on Monday to show openness to the other and preserve the formula of coexistence since “the conspiracy does not differentiate between a party and another”.

“The current phase is hard but the days ahead will be harder”, he stressed.

During a foundation stone ceremony in Deir Mar Geryes in Ashash, Frangieh pointed out that “many politicians, whether in Lebanon or abroad, have interest in sowing discord amongst the Lebanese, because the more they frighten the people, the more political gains they make”.

Frangieh stressed the importance that Christians spread widely across the world since “we are the sons of this land”.
