REPORT: Higher Disciplinary Council dismisses 2 employees in governmental hospital
The Higher Disciplinary Council presided by Judge Marwan Abboud, with Mirvat Itani and Ali Merhi as members issued a decision to dismiss employees at one of the biggest governmental hospitals for using computer systems to issue fake receipts to change registered names of patients and dead persons.

The employees used this method to embezzle social security funds deposited at the hospital.

The Council said that such decision comes as part of the series of corruption files in the hospital that led to being on the verge of bankruptcy.

The Council added that it will issue soon “important decisions” to “reduce the widespread corruption in the Lebanese state.”
