Berri warns against “dangerous repercussions” of military operation in Syria

Speaker Nabih Berri warned on Wednesday against the dangerous repercussions of any military operation targeting Syria.

Berri voiced concerns that the first “victims” of such military operation would be the stability and unity of the region.

“If war occurred, it will be funded from the Arabs’ pockets and wealth and its repercussions will definitely be negative and destructive for their future and the stability of their countries,” Berri added.

On another note, Berri stressed that Lebanon cannot continue without the coexistence between its communities.
