Sleiman: Dialogue only means to settle current issues
Lebanese President Michel Sleiman praised the recommendations issued by the second Muslim-Christian summit which took place on Wednesday describing it as the “key to consolidating coexistence and establishing communities devoid of violence.”

Sleiman stressed on Thursday that dialogue and openness are the only means that should be used to settle current issues.

Separately, the president discussed with Social Affairs Minister Wael Abou Faour the latest developments as well as the activities of the latter’s ministry.

Sleiman was also briefed by State Minister Marwan Khiereddine and an accompanying delegation on the preparations led by the Institute of Beirut for its annual conference titled “Investment in Transitional State: Dialogue with the Future."
