Newly-elected MP Farid Haykal al-Khazen confirmed Friday the alliance with Marada Movement chief Sleiman Frangieh, deeming it “firm and final.”
“We are not March 8 and we try with Frangieh to form a parliamentary gathering, not a sectarian one, and we will be present in the parliament and the government,” he added.
Speaking from Bkerke, al-Khazen described his relation with Kataeb party as political and solid,” he stated, noting that they are in the process of finding means of cooperation.
In this context, the deputy stressed that the elections period has ended and the time has come to extend our hand to all cooperating political factions in order to put in place a rescue plan to save Lebanon’s future.
