Kawouk: Saudi Arabia’s interference in cabinet formation process is no longer a secret

Deputy Head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, Sheikh Nabil Kawouk, affirmed that Saudi Arabia’s interference in the cabinet formation process was no longer a secret, stressing that it is the main reason behind the attempts of known political parties to raise the bar on their demands, as well as to fabricate obstacles.

During the graduation ceremony at Al-Mahd School in Bent-Jbeil, Kawouk emphasized that the delay in forming the government constitutes a direct target to the “Era” and the interests of all Lebanese.

“If some local parties or Saudi Arabia are betting on compensating for their defeat in the parliamentary election by increasing their shares in the new government, they are delusional, because local political equations are stronger and more sensitive than to be changed by any outsider interference,” he added.
