Maronite Bishops call for swift formation of a new Cabinet

Maronite Bishops called on Wednesday the leaders to overcome their disputes and to agree on a Cabinet that can face the impeding merits, mainly those related to the daily lives of the Lebanese people.

The Bishops’ comments were made following their monthly meeting in Bkerke whereby they congratulated the Lebanese army for its 73rd anniversary, hailing the efforts deployed by the military institution.

On another note, the Bishops said that the legalization of cannabis needs “a more objective and scientific approach and study.”

This as the bishops voiced relief that Russia is supervising the return of the Syrian refugees to their homeland.
