A huge fire erupted Saturday in the region of Nabaa al-Banat in al-Qobeiyat and Akkar al-Atika, where volunteers are attempting to put it out and prevent the flames from expanding using primitive means, awaiting the arrival of Civil Defense teams, who have been finding difficulties in reaching the location of the fire.
The Lebanese Armed Forces helicopters started to work on extinguishing the fire, which has extended due to the dry northeastern winds that have hit the region.
Residents rang the church bells to call on all young people to head to the location of the fire and volunteer for help in putting it out.
