Speaker Nabih Berri has tried in vain to force the government to implement a number of passed laws that had been neglected since the year 2000.
The list of 36 laws was delivered by Berri during a dialogue session to the president, who in turn gave it to the concerned ministers in order to put in place the relevant implementation decrees, but the cabinet resigned.
The list includes laws related to civil aviation sector management, civil aviation safety, regulation of electricity sector, consumer protection, voluntary health security system for seniors, regulating bottled drinking water sector, telecom law, environment protection, settling the situation of Lebanese refugees in Israel and others.
