Hezbollah denounces involving its name in security activities in Bahrain

Hezbollah said on Wednesday that the Bahraini authorities insist on “going too far with its dark campaign against the party through fabricating accusations related to an alleged involvement in military and security activities in Bahrain”.

Hezbollah issued a statement in response to what it called “accusations of the Bahraini authorities against the party about its involvement in explosives found in Bahrain regions”. The statement said that “these allegations show the Bahraini authorities’ bad intentions towards the peaceful movement of the Bahraini people by accusing this movement of violence and linking it to foreign powers, in order to justify the violence the authorities are practicing against the people”.
Hezbollah denounced “involving its name in this matter”, and confirmed its previous position supporting the peaceful movement and legitimate demands of the people.
